Place was charming and close to a reform synagogue. Appreciated the early check-in too. Lovely building, magnificent location...

Quite place with free parking in the street. The apartment was cosy and we found everything we needed. Onilda and Esther were very friendly and helpful! We recommend this place!

The place is really good for the price. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the staff is helpful and nice. The location is central to downtown and the beach. Room is stocked perfectly and stuff which is not present can be found by the help of people there. Management always accessible.

Good stay for business. Extremely convenient to Miami airport, only 15 minutes. This is in downtown and 2 minutes to Brickell Ave financial district. American Airlines Arena only 1 mile away. Rooms nicely appointed and updated. Plenty of parking. Free and fast wifi in the room. Good value factoring in large room size and convenient location. I would definitely feel comfortable coming back with my family of 4 for a family vacation.

I only stayed 5 nights, but would have enjoyed staying longer. The neighborhood and building is quiet and relaxing. It is very close to everything - shopping, restaurants, downtown Miami & South Beach. The Shops at Midtown Miami are a few blocks away and very nice to walk at night. The manager who lives on the property was available at all hours and was very kind. This was a great value for my money! It was clean, and the room was spacious and inviting.

I came for a conference in downtown Miami. I found the location to be excellent and the value amazing. I was very comfortable and was able to relax while at the apartment. The area was quiet and very nice. All the rooms had a different style and I was able to choose one that I liked.Everything was very clean and the rooms were equipped with full kitchens, 32 inch flatscreen tv's and fast wireless internet. The onsite manager was very nice and always around for anything I needed. I felt very good at the Fortuna House and would definitely recommend it.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. If possible you get the choice to choose your room upon arrival.

I was given a room choice when I arrived. All the apartments were about the same size, just slightly different decor. All were extremely well designed, spacious and clean. The staff treated me very well. The location was excellent, lots of shops, restaurants, shopping nearby. South beach was only a few minutes away. Parking was excellent and fast internet. This was a great value, simple, and clean.

The apartment was in a central location and was as I expected. It is fairly easy to travel to downtown and other areas of Miami from here. It matched mostly my expectations from reading the other reviews on the site. The best part about my stay was that the estate manager was very friendly and responded promptly to queries.
There was no one to greet me on arrival and it was somewhat confusing to get settled. Luckily I had my phone and I was roaming so I could call the estate manager who was able to get the live in attendant to open my room and settle me in. Not having someone available to greet new guests could be a problem especially if they don't have a phone or internet access to reach out to someone.

They showed us 5 beautiful studios when we arrived. We picked the one we liked best. They all had really nice kitchens fully stocked with appliances and cooking ware. Super clean place! The large flatscreen TV had 150 cable channels and there was free WiFi with excellent speed from inside the apartment. There is a wonderful Latin restaurant on the corner that had amazing food. The Fortuna House has a good, central location in downtown Miami. There was a Publix supermarket,a Walgreens and some amazing restaurants within walking distance. This is not a standard hotel. Rather, it is a condominium building which has full-time residents. The rooms and surroundings were clean and the neighborhood was very nice and only 5 minute drive to South Beach. The rooms are spacious. There were also washers and dryers onsite (although we rarely used them since they gave us extra linens and towels). The manager responded to all my inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. There is also a manager that lives in the building that was very sweet and helpful. This was a really great deal and I would come back here in a heartbeat.

We loved the location, very close to everything in a quiet street in the middle of downtown Miami. The room was very clean, loved the bright simple decoration. My husband and I stayed there with our teenage daughter and it was very comfortable for us three, much better than any hotel room. It has a great kitchenette with everything you need if you wish to cook in. Very private, independent. I would go back there again!

Awful experience, awake ALL night with screaming and fighting from other 'guests' and no one on site to help, managers phone number is not accessible to guests, only via non English speaking housekeeper. Left after one night and still trying to get refund from manager who is refusing to answer any calls or emails even though she agreed the police should have been called. Location is poor, not a pleasant area to be out in and apts are overlooked by shabby tenement block.

A nice and budget friendly way to visit Miami. The Fortuna House Apartments are located in downtown Miami in a quiet neighbourhood but you will have to take your car or a taxi to get to the city center You can choose your room upon arrival. All rooms look like they are refurbished recently
This is no (luxury) hotel, no front desk and no daily cleaning services. Nothing special or romantic about this place, just a place to sleep. The refurbished rooms are nice but lack in soms details like the old bathroom and old A/C units
